ST-Class

Our Fleet

ST-Class

The ST-Class is the second generation of our dock type semi-submersible multifunctional heavy lift transport vessels. Built by FSG in Flensburg, Germany, the RollDock Star and RollDock Storm are modern, high quality vessels having the same loading modes as the S-Class. With their length of 151.5 meters, the ST-Class vessels have a wider and longer cargo hold which creates a larger deadweight and greater accommodation area.

The ramp/deck design in combination with the ballast tanks make it possible to match every quay height, with the stern ramp allowing Ro-Ro cargo up to 4,500 mt per unit. During Flo-Flo operations, the S-Class vessels can submerge to 12.5 meters creating a draft in hold of 6.6 meters. With a draught of 5.67 meters the vessels are suitable for shallow draft waters, and each deck crane has the ability to lift up to 350 mt, or 700 mt in tandem lifting.

The RollDock Star and RollDock Storm have been operational since 2013 and 2014 respectively.
