Roll-Lift at CPV Energy Co-Generation Power Plant

Roll-Lift have recently provided a complete service to the CPV Energy Co-Generation Power Plant in Waldorf, MD consisting of Barge unloading, Heavy Haul transportation and Heavy Crane hire.

Barging & Road Transport of Reactor

The transport by road and barge of a Reactor and Heat Exchanger weighing
almost 600 tonnes (1,319,600lbs) was carried out by Roll-Lift using one of
our C-500 Kenworth Prime movers, and K25 Conventional trailers. The items were loaded onto the barge, towed along the Mississippi River to inland waterways, and completed the final leg of the journey by road.

Installation at Condensate Processing Facility

Roll-Lift supplied SPMT's, multiple cranes and managed barging operations to handle the receipt and installation of a splitter column on behalf of our client in Houston, USA.

Kinder Morgan Project

Kinder Morgan is the largest midstream and the third largest energy company in North America. They own an interest in or operate approximately 80,000 miles of pipelines and 180 terminals.

Transportation of Transformer

Roll-Lift were recently contracted to perform the recovery and safe transportation to site of a 340kv, 330t Transformer.

UAN fertilizer plant expansion

Among other exciting events with the growth of Roll-Lift USA, they are continuing with the UAN fertilizer plant expansion in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. To date 21 barges of project cargo have been unloaded and rolled over the Mississippi River levee to the site.

ROLLDOCK STAR in Kaliningrad

The crew of the ROLLDOCK STAR performed an outstanding job in Kaliningrad.

ROLLDOCK SEA loaded two push tugs

At Izmit, Turkey the m.v. ROLLDOCK SEA loaded two push tugs for Nueva Palmira in Uruguay by the float-in method.

ROLLDOCK STORM Maiden Voyage

Whilst our new vessel was still in the builders yard, DEME, a Belgian dredging company awarded RollDock part of the sea transportation scope for a huge dredging project near the Port of Sabetta, Russia.

MV RollDock Sea recently performed the first of a minimum of four voyages from Monfalcone, Italy to Rotterdam, The Netherlands carrying 2 Topside Lifting System (TLS) beams.

Gorgon contract extended

The Gorgon project is one of the world’s largest natural gas developments and the largest single resource project in Australia’s history. The project involves developing the Greater Gorgon Area gas fields and constructing an LNG plant on Barrow Island (BWI). Barrow Island is a Class A Nature reserve - a small island located off the coast of Western Australia, which is home to plant and animal species that are rare or extinct on the mainland. In order to protect the island’s unique flora and fauna a comprehensive environmental management system is in place.

The RollDock Sun entered in to a time charter April 2012 in Singapore. The vessel was chartered to perform a “shuttle” service between the Asian Marshalling Yard (AMY) in Thailand and BWI.

OPTARA

OPTARA (OPtimization of The Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam area) is a refining project worth approximately 700 million euro.

Transport Fast Missile Crafts

Rolldock succesfully completed the transportation of two new Fast Missile Crafts. The FMC’s were loaded into the ‘Rolldock Star’ at Pensacola Bay in presence of the US Navy and MSC. Vessel’s crew performed the cribbing, sea-fastening and lashing in Pensacola, then the Rolldock Star sailed to Alexandria, Egypt for discharge.

Transport of River cruise Avalon Tapestry II

During the dark days of January the newly built river cruise vessel ‘’Avalon Tapestry II” was loaded onboard of the m.v. RollDock Sea in Rotterdam, The Netherlands by means of FLOAT-IN for FLOAT-OUT the following day at Le Havre, France.

Transportation River Cruise Vessel

RollDock transported a river cruise vessel for account of heritage line from Ho Chi Minh City to Yangon Myanmar.

Transportation Submarine

RollDock shipping BV recently transported the HQ-184 Hai Phong submarine from St. Petersburg, Russia to Cam Ranh, Vietnam. This is the third of six Kilo-Class submarines Vietnam contracted to purchase from Russia.

Transportation of Transformer

Roll-Lift were recently contracted to perform the recovery and safe transportation to site of a 340kv, 330t Transformer. The operation was successfully completed using an extended double wide 22 Line K25 PST transporter.

Roll-Lift Uruguay

The first heavy load destined for the Punta del Tigre combined cycle power plant departed from the port of Nueva Palmira, Uruguay last Friday 8th August.

Erection of 300t Gantry Crane - Canada

The installation of Canada’s largest Gantry Crane has recently been completed by Roll-Lift, as part of a $200 Million shipyard modernization project underway to create a new, state-of-the-art facility in Vancouver.

Roll-Lift provides thirty machines up to 750 Tonnes capacity to assist in the erection of a Paper Mill.

Russia, Transportation of Press

Petrobras Brazil

Roll-Lift provided a LR-1750, 750 Tonne Crawler Crane to assist in the construction of the Petrobras 58 FPSO, the machine was also used to erect the Roll-Lift Heavy Duty Tower Crane.

Uruguay Paper mill - Update

The most critical lift of the Paper Pulp Project in Uruguay was the Steamdrum weighing 180 ton.

Power Project in Moscow

Roll-Lift succesfully completed the load-in of a 320Te Turbine, 177Te Generator and 240Te Gas Turbine for Russia's largest power generating company. Our scope of work included the provision of Barges, Hydraulic Trailers and Prime Movers.

Moscow Refinery

At a Moscow Refinery for our esteemed client Omus we have started the lifting operations during a 45 days plant stop during which operations will be executed in double shifts.

Dubai, UAE to Red Sea

Upon completion of her final seatrials, mv ROLLDOCK SEA sailed to the Arabian Gulf to execute her first job.

Dubai, UAE to Point Noire, Congo

On its way back to Rotterdam mv ROLLDOCK SUN loaded some floating cargo and discharged same in Congo, the photo is showing the departure of the vessel from Pointe Noire, Congo.

Spain to Gulf of Mexico

Upon completion of the discharge operation in the Red Sea, mv ROLLDOCK SEA sailed to Spain were she had to load a transformer plus accessories with destination New Orleans.

Europe to the Arabian Gulf

Various project cargo was loaded with vessel’s own gear and transported to the Arabian Gulf.

China to Bangladesh

Mv ROLLDOCK SUN was mobilized to transport a full load of dredging equipment from China to Bangladesh.

Arabian Gulf to France

Two barges with a width of 18.50m and 55m long were floflo loaded in the cargo hold and after deballasting some other equipment was loaded with vessel’s own gear on top of the hatch covers.

Brazil to Lithuania

Upon completion of her previous project mv ROLLDOCK SUN sailed to sunny Brasil to pick up a backhoe dredger and project equipment for account of Van Oord.

Denmark to UK

RollDock was requested to transport windmill equipment from Denmark to the UK.
