Roll-Lift has been involved in the UTE Project in Uruguay since August of 2014. In early December 2015, sections of a condenser unit were delivered to the port of Montevideo.
Roll-Lift then had the responsibility of transporting the unit components from the port to the final destination at Punta del Tigre Power Plant, driving in excess of 50km through the city of Montevideo. Significant sections of this route were designed and constructed by our locally based project team.
The cargo consisted of two Shell Condenser sections: 11.5m (L) x 4.1m (W) x 7.5m (H), weighing 78.8mTe - making this the tallest cargo transported for this project to date.
