As of April 1st 2018 the world’s first pool for dock vessels will be established. RollDock and SAL Heavy Lift will join forces for Roll-On / Roll-Off and Float-In / Float-Out heavy lift cargoes. March 16th, the MV RollDock Sky was delivered to RollDock Shipping B.V. by Larsen & Toubro in Mumbai. Shortly after delivery the vessel was fixed for her maiden voyage with various dredging equipment from Jebel Ali, UAE to Rotterdam.
RollDock Shipping B.V. confirmed the purchase of their 7th vessel, the MV RollDock Sky. This is the third semi-submersible multipurpose heavy lift vessel bought from Larsen & Toubro India. She will go directly into service after some upgrades.

Roll-Lift has recently taken delivery of a new SBL900 Gantry System. The equipment will allow safe and efficient lifting and positioning of heavy loads in circumstances where the use of traditional cranes is not feasible due to restrictions such as permanent overhead structures, or where manoeuvring space is limited.

ROLLDOCK SUN still going strong for Gorgon project
The Rolldock Star loaded two FMCs in Pensacola, FL in May 2015. The ship arrived in Pensacola several days before the scheduled load date in order to prepare the vessel’s cargo space for the voyage.
The MV ROLLDOCK SUN has been operating on the Gorgon Project since 2012, making her the longest serving vessel on the project. Last month, our Captain and crew received an appreciation award from the client for all their hard work.
RollDock transported a river cruise vessel for account of heritage line from Ho Chi Minh City to Yangon Myanmar.
Rolldock succesfully completed the transportation of two new Fast Missile Crafts. The FMC’s were loaded into the ‘Rolldock Star’ at Pensacola Bay in presence of the US Navy and MSC. Among other exciting events with the growth of Roll-Lift USA, they are continuing with the UAN fertilizer plant expansion in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. To date 21 barges of project cargo have been unloaded and rolled over the Mississippi River levee to the site.

The office is situated on a 10 acre hard-standing site which will be used as an operational base and central depot for the fleet of brand new lifting and transport equipment, and is in a prime location with access to road, rail and sea links via the Houston Shipping Channel.
